10 short stories inspired by Nuovo Progetto italiano 1. Elementary (A1-A2)
Dieci racconti is a collection of 10 very short stories inspired by some dialogues of Nuovo Progetto italiano 1 and related to the vocabulary and grammar of the units of the course.
Many of these stories are, so to speak, "interactive", meaning that they involve students directly inviting them to complete or to guess the ending of the story and to rebuild or re-invent the plot.
To be read at home or in class, Dieci racconti can also be used as a new and different material during the winter or summer breaks. Each story is accompanied by short, simple activities that help students to understand the text and also learn some colloquial expressions.
This collection is part of the supplementary material of Nuovo Progetto italiano 1 which includes the Workbook, the audio CD, the interactive CD-ROM, the Teacher's Guide, the Online activities and the Supplements in various languages.
Primiracconti is Edilingua series of easy readers for adult students and for teenagers.
Each story is followed by:
- short notes to explain the most difficult words, jargon expressions and colloquialisms that are more common in Italy; the notes are well balanced in order not to overburden text reading;
- original and funny drawings that ease understanding and make reading more enjoyable;
- pre-reading questions to involve more the student–reader and help him reflect;
- activities to develop several competences, in particular those related to understanding the text and consolidate the student’s vocabulary;
- exercises keys for students who prefer self-evaluation in written and oral comprehension;
- an audio CD with professional actors reading the text (multi-voice) that helps students grasp the accent, the pronunciation and the intonation and do some listening exercises.
